Brownwood News – The Brownwood Adult Soccer League (BASL) completed its first season on Sunday, July 30th. The season began in April and consisted of nine teams. The top four teams competed in the playoffs on July 30th.

The Gallos de Queretaro the #1 seed competed against Hidalgos the #4 seed and BC Elite the #2 seed took on FC Brownwood the #3 seed. The championship game was played by BC Elite from Brownwood and Hidalgos. BC Elite is the first BASL Champion winning 6-5. BASL will be back with a fall season.
