Funeral Services for Betty Joe Larsen, age 73, of Brownwood, Texas formerly of Odessa, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Mrs. Larsen passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in a local nursing home.

Betty was born in Winters, Texas on September 28, 1943 in Winters, Texas to Doyle and Della Mae Teston.  She owned and operated Joe’s Beauty Shop in Odessa for many years.

Survivors include her children Rickie Reshanna Sweet, Melissa Joe Rutledge and husband Rodney; brothers Glen E. Fletcher, Johnny Fletcher and sisters Bobbe Lou Bain and Nancy Lee Neeley; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Larsen and a sister Patsy McKorkle.
