Brownwood News – Video footage captured the scene of a domestic disturbance that occurred just after midnight last night in downtown Brownwood near the old Bank of America building on Center Avenue. Audio from the video includes what sounds like gunfire.

According to a preliminary police report, officers responded to the area of Center Avenue and West Baker Street after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance with possible shots fired. Evidence was collected at the scene and the incident is currently under investigation.

The video of the incident shows a woman driving a Toyota TRD truck, with a man pacing around the vehicle. Once on the other side of the vehicle, just out of view, the man is heard threatening the woman, followed by what could be considered the sound of two gunshots. The man then gets back into the vehicle, with the woman driving and the pair leave the bank parking lot.

In the video, the man screamed, “I’m going to kill that motherf—–!” twice before the truck sped down Center Avenue.

The video has been given to detectives to aid in the investigation. Details will be updated when available.
