A graveside funeral service for C. L. McRae, age 72, of Comanche, will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday in the Newburg Cemetery in Comanche County under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.

Mr. McRae died Friday, July 28, 2017 in a local care facility.

C.L. was born on November 7, 1944 in Belmont Mississippi to Clone L. and Bessie (Pitts) McRae.  He served his country in the Army National Guard.  He was a member of the Pearl Street Church of Christ.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking. C.L. owned and operated M&M Well Service in Comanche for a number of years.

C.L. will be remembered as an honest and kind-hearted Good Ol’ Boy.

C.L. is survived by his two daughters, Melinda Baugh and husband Brant and DeLaura McRae and husband Jason Moore; a grandson, Trine Baugh and a sister Sarah Hammet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
