Brownwood News – Beginning Monday, July 17th, City of Early crews will be preparing select streets for a seal coating project. The project will be ongoing throughout the week. The city is asking residents not to park on the streets during the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

There are 5 streets included in this project:
- East River Oaks
- Sudderth
- James
- Eastwind
- Sonjia
During the seal coating process, there will be times when the streets will be completely closed; as this process involves spraying fresh oil on the road which makes it impassable. The city is asking community members to be aware of utility crews working, as well as road signs, to ensure everyone’s safety.
In a recent release, city officials expressed their appreciation for the community’s patience, adding “We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but are encouraged about the improved condition of the roads that this project will provide.”
