Brownwood News – The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will present welcome bags to new teachers coming into Brownwood ISD during their upcoming school orientation.

The Chamber will be supplying these bags to up to 65 new BISD teachers at the orientation to welcome them to the district. We are inviting our Chamber members to be a part of this by dropping off any brochures or promotional items (ie: pens, pencils, notepads, coupons, etc.) you may have into these bags. The deadline to bring goodies is Thursday, August 3rd at noon.
The Brownwood Chamber Ambassadors Club will also be serving breakfast to the new teachers to kick off their orientation in August and the bags will be presented at that time.
New Teacher Welcome Bags are sponsored by Big Country Ford, Mills County State Bank, Central Texas Farm Credit, Doc’s Drugstore, Performance Pipe, Howard Payne University, United Supermarkets and Kohler.
