Brownwood News – Law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, July 7, 2017. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. Wednesday, July 5th

*5:18 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2400 block of Avenue B in regards to a trespassing call. Antwon Mason was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Thursday, July 6th

*7:12 a.m. Brownwood Police investigated suspicious activity near the 2500 block of Good Shepherd. Officers arrested Joshua Stovall for Driving While Intoxicated, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than 1 gram.

*7:28 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a stolen purple and pink bicycle.

*8:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue for a forgery report. A counterfeit 20 dollar bill was placed into evidence.

*11:41 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a pedestrian stop on a male subject on a bicycle in the 900 Blk of 5th St. Investigation during the stop, led to the discovery of a small quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine. Mark Sanchez was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. Sanchez was transported to the Brown County Jail.

*12:29 p.m. Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding a theft.

*5:08 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Avenue G regarding a report of graffiti.

*6:59 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding a theft. Officers issued citations to two individuals.
