Funeral services for Freddy J. Bullard, age 85, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Heartland Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery.  Mr. Bullard passed away Saturday in a local nursing home.

Freddy was born on December 17, 1931 in Rising Star, Texas to T.R (Pete) and Inez Brown Bullard. He was a graduate of Brownwood High School and attended Brownwood Business School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.  A lifelong resident of Brownwood, he was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, a retired painter and enjoyed fishing and playing poker

Survivors include his daughters Diane McMahon of Covington and Janelle Surpreant and husband Dan of Grand Prairie; grandchildren Chantel, Carey and Billy; great grandchildren Cody, Sandy, Caylee, Gavin, Quade and Ashley; Brothers Buster, Billy, Buddy, Bobby and Mike Bullard; sisters Monette King  and Patsy Dickerson and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents brothers Ted, Tommy and Burt Bullard  and sister Thelma Bullard
