Bryan Justin Greenrock

Bryan Justin Greenrock, 42, of Early, passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017. A funeral service, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home, was held 2:00 p.m. Monday June 19, 2017, at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, with Chaplain Dan Chapman, Paul Doerschuk, and David Williams officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family received friends at Heartland Funeral Home Sunday the 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Condolences to the family can be left on line at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net

Bryan was born in Brownwood, TX June 23, 1974, to Fred and Donna “Musick” Greenrock. He attended and graduated from May High School in 1992. Bryan worked as a Jailer for Brown County Sheriff’s Office 10/1996 – 5/1999, the Coleman Police Department as a Reserve 7/1998 – 3/1999 and Police Officer 3/1999 – 12/2002 and 10/2003 – 12/2004, and the Brownwood Police Department since February 2013. He held an Advanced Police Officer License. He was a member of the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) and the Brownwood Municipal Police Association (BMPA). Bryan enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and carpentry.

Bryan is survived by sons, Colt Justin Greenrock and Aiden Matthew Greenrock, both of Early, TX; mother, Donna “Musick” Greenrock; brother, Dale Greenrock and wife Tiffinie; niece, Lyssa Greenrock; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friend Misty Cheatham, and all his brothers & sisters in Blue. He is preceded in death by father, maternal and paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenrock memorial fund at Citizens National Bank.
