Advance Tickets Now Available for 54th Annual Brown County Rodeo: June 1-3rd

Brownwood News – Advance Rodeo Tickets are now on sale for the 54th Annual Brown County Rodeo. Tickets can be purchased at Leon River Mercantile, Citizens National Bank – both the main branch and inside Walmart, KOXE, TexasBank, Diamond R Cafe, and the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Brown County Rodeo will be held on Thursday, June 1st – Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at Brown County Fairgrounds, 4206 US 377.

Nightly performances will begin at 8:00 p.m. each night at the Earl Q. Wilson Arena. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Advanced tickets are just $8 for adults and $6 for children.  Tickets at the gate are $10 for adults and $8 for children.

Entertainment during the rodeo will be provided by rodeo clown Tim “The Wild Thang” Lepard & the Ghost Riders and the Lone Star Cowgirls.  T.C. Long will be this year’s announcer.  Rodeo stock is being provided by the James Andrews Rodeo Company known for the legendary bucking bull “Bodacious.”

The Annual Brown County Rodeo Parade will be held Saturday, June 3rd. Arrival begins at 8:30 a.m., judging taking at 9:30 a.m. and the parade will commence at 10 a.m. Judging is based on originality, appeal, presentation, and workmanship.

The Annual Membership Meeting and Dinner will be on Monday, May 29th, at Home Economics Building from 5-7 p.m. Admission to the dinner is free for current BCFA members and their immediate family. Non-members may register at the door for $20.

The Brown County Rodeo is sanctioned by the UPRA, CPRA, TCRA and CRRA.
