Funeral Services for Larry Joe Irvin, age 29, of Brownwood will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Christian McDaniel officiating; burial will follow at Jordan Springs Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Larry passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017.

Larry was born to Clark Andrew Irvin and Teresa Carol Closs on December 16, 1987, in Temple. Larry enjoyed art. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Aggies.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Denver Lucy Marie Pittman; girlfriend, Shanda Pittman; mother, Teresa Closs of Brownwood; father, Clark Irvin of Nevada; sister, Crystal Gallardo of Early; maternal grandparents, Jackie and Joe Garcia of Austin, Lamar and Jeannine Closs of Thorndale; paternal grandmother, Elaine Bean of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joe Irvin; and maternal great-grandparents and paternal great-grandparents.
