Brownwood News – Law enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, May 22, 2017. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days. Brownwood News will no longer publish names of individuals with Class C Misdemeanor charges.

Friday, May 19th

*7:54 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center in reference to Terroristic Threat. During this call a victim reported violence against her by her estranged husband. An active report was generated.

*8:57 a.m. Brownwood Police were approached about an alleged Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon that took place in the 1300 block of Avenue H. A case number was generated, and the case is still active.

*2:30 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Magnolia for a criminal mischief report.

*2:53 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Looney for a burglary of a vehicle report.

*8:46 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Shaw Drive for a criminal mischief report.

*11:24 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer was patrolling in the 2000 block of Austin Avenue. The officer observed a suspicious passenger car parked in Coggin Park’s parking lot with “foggy” windows. The Officer approached the vehicle and perceived the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Kaitlin Nicole Donahoo was arrested for Possession of Marijuana in a drug free zone. Donahoo was also arrested for two outstanding warrants out of Brown County.

Saturday, May 20th

*12:55 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce St. in regards to a theft. Jeremy Yockey was arrested for theft of property equal to or greater than $100 but less than $750.

*7:23 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of Riverside Park Drive in reference to a burglary. The victim had his mobile home broken into with several items stolen. Investigation is still on going.

*12:25 p.m., Brownwood Police were called to a home in the 300 block N. Greenleaf Street for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, responding officers located one male subject in a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers were informed a person involved with the shooting had fled the scene on foot towards the City of Early. A Brown County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and Early Police Department Officer located and detained Preston Dilon Browne, W/M, 25 years of age, on CC Woodson Road near S. Broadway Street in Brownwood. Browne was arrested at that time and transported to the Brown County Jail. He is currently being charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, a Third Degree Felony and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, also a Third Degree Felony.

*7:34 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the Law Enforcement Center to speak with a complainant in reference to credit/debit card abuse. A report has been completed for further investigation.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a Brownwood address in reference to a dispute between neighbors. The complainant stated that the suspect had come to her property looking for his peacocks. She told the suspect that the peacocks had been coming onto her property for the last month. The suspect accused the complainant of having an “attitude.”  The complainant told the suspect to leave her property.  A short-time later the suspect returned with two additional subjects. There was an “exchange of heated words” between the suspect and complainant. The complainant wanted the suspect to stay off of her property and a trespass warning was issued to the suspect.

Sunday, May 21st

*12:12 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Commerce Street in reference to a suspicious person report. A 74 year old woman was arrested for Public Intoxication, Class C Misdemeanor.

*9:12 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to CR 607 in reference to Burglary of a Habitation. During the investigation, the deputy discovered that a television had been removed from the wall, and approximate $1,700 worth of different bottles of alcohol were stolen. No suspect information was available at the time of this report.

*1:21 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue for a criminal mischief report.

*3:44 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Borden Street in regards to a theft call. A case number was generated for a report.

*4:56 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 900 block of Trigg Street in regards to a criminal mischief call. A case number was generated for a report and the case is still active.

*7:43 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue in reference to unwanted person. Officers spoke with the complainant and a report was generated for Criminal Trespass – Class B Misdemeanor.

*10:00 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to an alleged assault that occurred in the 1600 block of Melwood Avenue.

Monday, May 22nd

*1:18 a.m. A Brownwood Police Officer was patrolling in the 1300 block of 2nd Street. A consensual contact was made was made with two individuals. Jacob Allen Liendo was arrested for three outstanding local warrants. Narcotics were found in Liendo’s possession and Liendo was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG1<1G in a Drug Free Zone.
