Press Release – Brownwood City Hall and Municipal offices will be closed Monday May 29, 2017 in observance of Memorial Day. The Police, Fire Departments, and other critical city services will remain unaffected by the closure.

Residential curbside trash routes for Monday May 29 will be collected on Tuesday May 30 and curbside routes for Tuesday May 30 will be collected on Wednesday May 31.  Please have your carts out early to insure collection; and in order to prevent litter, bag your waste and tie securely before placing in carts.

Emergency services are available for water and sewer needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  After hours emergency water line breaks and wastewater backup calls can be made to Police Dispatch at 325-646-6000.

City of Brownwood Municipal Landfill and Recycling Center on FM 45 will also close Monday May 29.  Questions concerning the landfill can be addressed by calling 325-646-6574.
