Rosa Cadena, 95 of Brownwood, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday May 15, 2017. She lived in Brownwood most of her life where her and husband Frank raised their children.  She moved to Fort Worth Tx after becoming ill to be with her daughters. Rosa loved life, enjoyed singing and dancing.  She enjoyed being around her family as much as possible.

Celebration mass will be at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 1105 Main Street, Brownwood, Tx on Thursday May 18, 2017 at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 6-9 pm with Rosary at 7:30 pm at Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel at 800 Center Ave, Brownwood, TX  76801

Rosa was born in Santa Anna, Texas to Martin and Senorina Loredo on August 21, 1921.  She married Frank Cadena in 1937 and they had 5 children.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Cadena, son Frank Cadena Jr, son Adam Cadena, her sisters Angela Mindieta, Dominga Mindieta and brothers Isabel Torrez, Bernardo Loredo, and Alberto Loredo.  She leaves behind a sister Rafaela Salazar, daughter Olivia Gonzales and husband Gonzalo Gonzales, daughter Janie DeAnda and husband Richard DeAnda, and daughter Eve Flores. She has 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as great- great grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy that will miss her dearly.
