Brownwood Chamber to Host Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon on May 19th

Press Release – The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual law enforcement appreciation luncheon on Friday, May 19th at the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church Connection Center (1715 Coggin Ave) from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This event is intended to honor the men and women in all aspects of law enforcement, who work together to keep the community safe.

Representatives from area law enforcement agencies will be in attendance and will be recognized.  Each of those agencies or departments has been offered the opportunity to announce their Officer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Investigator of the Year, or whatever awards may be appropriate for their agency.

Mitch Slaymaker of the Texas Municipal Police Association will be the guest speaker.

This month’s luncheon is sponsored by TexasBank.

Chamber members and the public may sponsor the lunches of law enforcement officers or officials.  Call the Brownwood Chamber for more information. Meal sponsors will be acknowledged at the luncheon.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 AM and the program begins at noon. The luncheon ends about 1 PM. Cost is $15 per person. RSVP is required and the deadline is Wednesday, May 17 at 5 PM. The Chamber’s Monthly Luncheon is open to the public.
