Sandra Campbell

Funeral services for Sandra Campbell, age 74, of Lake Brownwood, will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at First Christian Church in Brownwood.  Burial will follow at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 1, 2017 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 7:00 until 8:00.

Mrs. Campbell passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in a Fort Worth hospital.

Sandra Dee Osborn Campbell was born on February 24, 1943 in Amarillo to Leo William and Pauline (Walthall) Osborn.  She married Joe M. Campbell on August 8, 1977.  She and Joe worked together for many years in the irrigation supply business on the South Plains.  They moved to Lake Brownwood in 2006 and joined First Christian Church.

Sandra is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Joe M. Campbell of Lake Brownwood; four daughters, Paula Victoria Couch and husband Weldon of Georgetown, Carol Lynn Lovelady and husband Craig Smith of Brownwood, Cheryl Lynn McClure of Irving, and Christy Anne Craig and husband Matthew of Amarillo; two sons, Douglas Michael Campbell and wife Gwen of Runaway Bay and Joe Buckley Campbell and wife Anna of Chico; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Lynn Spann and husband Dee of Plainview and Sharon Lee Whitten and husband Gilbert of Amarillo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jack W William Osborn, killed in action in Vietnam in 1968 and an infant daughter Kay Dee’Lee Lovelady in 1975.
