Police Blotter: 4/26

Law enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, April 26, 2017. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.

Friday, April 21st

*11:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to 405 5th Street in reference to a theft. On arrival officers met with a complainant who reported an unknown suspect stole a black appliance dolly, and bags of crushed cans from the back yard.

Monday, April 24th

*8:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Clark Street in regards to a burglary. A report for theft was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

Tuesday, April 25th

*8:10 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a hit-and-run near the 2700 block of Austin Avenue. A report was filed.

*8:15 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business in the 500 block of Fisk Avenue in reference to criminal mischief. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject who stated that two of the windows of his business had been damaged. A criminal mischief report was generated.

*6:26 p.m. Dispatch advised a Brownwood police officer that a subject wanted to speak to an officer over the phone about stolen property. According to the report, the individual listed a black Mongoose 21 Speed Bicycle as stolen.
