A visitation for Carol Ann Franklin, age 61, of Princeton, formerly of Brownwood, will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Home.

Carol passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Carrollton after a long battle with ovarian cancer.  She was born on May 1, 1955 in Odessa to Joann and John Franklin.  She grew up in Irving and Brownwood.  Carol had a 19-year career with AT&T before retiring.

Carol is survived by her daughter Melissa Smith and husband Garry; two grandsons, Dakota and Travis Smith; two nieces, Ashley Franklin and Christina Hubbard; a nephew John Franklin and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Carol’s name to cancer research facilities.
