Brown County Grand Jury Returns Indictments Against 29 Individuals

Brownwood News – During the March 2017 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 33 indictments were returned against 29 persons, including two individuals accused of sexual assault of a child.

Listed in the indictment records released was 29 year old Blake Ryan Whitehead and 18 year old Adrean Ray Alfaro, both arrested in January 2017.

Blake Ryan Whitehead

Brown County deputies arrested Blake Ryan Whitehead on three warrants related to sex crimes against minors on January 25th. Whitehead was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child, according to the sheriff’s office. According to the sheriff’s office the two victims were under the age of 16 at the time of the alleged offense.

The Brown County Grand Jury indicted Whitehead on two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

Adrean Ray Alfaro was arrested on January 24th, charged with sexual assault. The indictment returned by the grand jury in March lists Sexual Assault of a Child.

  • Isabel Tamez – Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence
  • Christopher Lynn Perez – Evading Arrest
  • William Warren Lux – Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle
  • Ashley Lillian Sharpe – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Richard James Ramos – Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence/Repeat Offender
  • Adam Wayne Funderburg – Evading Arrest/Repeat Offender, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver/Repeat Offender
  • Joshua Wayne McBride – Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence
  • Carroll Dwayne LeBlanc Jr. – Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon/Repeat Offender
  • Joseph Alan Havens – Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Zane Scott Huntley – Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
  • Reagan Joe Burns – Forgery
  • Lora Kay Burns – Forgery
