Press Release – Brownwood City Hall and Municipal offices will be closed Friday April 14 in observance of Good Friday and the Easter holiday. The Police, Fire Departments, and other critical city services will remain unaffected by the closure.

Residential curbside trash routes for Friday will be collected on Thursday April 13 and curbside routes for Thursday will be collected on Wednesday April 12.  Please have your carts out early to insure collection.

Emergency services are available for water and sewer needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  After hours emergency water line breaks and wastewater backup calls can be made to Police Dispatch at 325-646-6000.

Landfill and Recycling Center on FM 45 will close Friday April 14 and will resume regular schedule on Saturday April 15. Questions concerning the landfill can be addressed by calling 325-646-6574.
