The Arts Council of Brownwood is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration on Friday, May 5 from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Center Avenue in Historic Downtown Brownwood.

There will be food and craft vendors, an area for dancing, and many free games and activities for children, including several piñatas throughout the evening, as well as other activities and contests.

The main entertainment for the evening will include Mariachi Los Toros, from Austin, who will be back again this year. They will perform in the Lyric Theatre, and they will also serenade at a couple of downtown restaurants. This year, we are also excited to include México 2000 Ballet Folklórico from Dallas, who will also perform in the Lyric. All performances in the Lyric will be free to the public.

The Arts Council of Brownwood is now accepting Early Bird Vendor Applications. Over 4,000 guests are expected to attend this year’s celebration.
