Funeral Services for Virginia Conner Garton, age 81, of Brownwood, Texas will be held Friday March 17, 2017 at 3:00pm at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. Interment will follow in the May Cemetery. Ms.Garton passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at her son’s residence in Baytown, Texas.

Virginia Lee was born on April 26, 1935 in Chillicothe, Texas to Vernon Maurice and Minnie Lee Hollingsworth Conner.

Survivors include her children Donnie Wayne Denson, Lafe Maurice Garton, Kelly Lynn Garton, Tammy Leigh Miller; grandchildren Leslie Denson, Bryan Denson, Jason Denson, Lacy Denson, Boyd Garton, Courtney Halpin, Cory Garton, Nicholas Garton, Angela Guiles, Christopher Garton and Riley Miller; her brother Vernon Larry Conner ;17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild , and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, son James Richard Garton, granddaughter Cassieda Denson; sister Edna Mae Settle and brother John Edward Conner.
