Boys Varsity Track Finishes 1st place at Bluebonnet Relays

Brownwood Athletics – The Brownwood track teams competed well on both days of the Bluebonnet relays. The Varsity Boys won their division and the JV boys did, too. They had numerous athletes make the finals and earn points for our teams. Coaches are extremely proud of the way the boys competed and the results from field events and times in the running finals.

Varsity Boys:

100 meters: Patrick Nash 1st ; Gavin Jefferson 8th
800 meters : Jason Sanchez 4th
400 meters : AJ McCarty 3rd
3200 meters : Logan Dick 7th
300 hurdles : Xavier Armenta 4th ; Tommy Bowden 5th
110 hurdles : Tommy Bowden 4th ; Xavier Armenta 5th
4 x 400 Relay : Kirk Vickers, Braden Jetton, Jason Sanchez, AJ McCarty 3rd
4 x 100 Relay : Gavin Jefferson, Patrick Nash, Braden Jetton, AJ McCarty 1st
4 x 200 Relay : Patrick Nash, Kirk Vickers, Braden Jetton, Gavin Jefferson 1st
High Jump : Nick Salazar 1st
Pole Vault : Paul David Quillin 3rd
Long Jump : AJ McCarty 1st ; Kirk Vickers 4th
Triple Jump : AJ McCarty 1st ; Kirk Vickers 2nd ; Tommy Bowden 8th
Shot Put : Liam McCraw 8th
Discus : Blaize Infinger 4th
