PRESS RELEASE – The Brownwood Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for Blake Steven Danaher, B/M, 31 years of age, charging him with Improper Relationship Between an Educator/Student. The arrest warrant was issued by Brown County Justice of the Peace Walter B. Croft on February 7th . This violation is a Second Degree Felony and has a bond of $50,000.

The warrant stems from an investigation which began on January 31, 2017 after the Police Department received allegations of an improper relationship between Danaher and a Brownwood High School student during the 2013-2014 school year. Danaher was suspended by the Brownwood Independent School District on January 31st and resigned on February 1 st . The BISD has cooperated fully with the ongoing criminal investigation.
