Gail Teegarden to speak at Pecan Valley Women’s Club Luncheon

Press Release – The Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Club will host their monthly luncheon on at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 26th at the Brownwood Country Club. The public is invited to attend. The featured speaker will be Gail Teegarden, Texas Federation of Republican Women Region 11 Deputy President. Teegarden will be speaking on legislation.

Teegarden has been active in the Republican Party and Republican Women’s clubs since 2004.  Her first year as a member of Burnet County Republican Women, she served as Membership Chair. Following a term of 2 years, she was elected Treasurer/PAC Treasurer for a term. She has served for Caring for America Chair and Awards and Conventions Chair. She was elected Vice-President with the duties of Programs and Menu selections for meetings. She is currently serving as Region XI Deputy President with Senate Districts 22 and 24 falling in her region. Teegarden has attended several RPT state conventions as a delegate for Burnet County. She was an honoree at the “Tribute to Women” in Dallas in 2016 at the RPT Convention having been selected by Burnet County Republican Women.

Membership with the Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Club is not required to attend the luncheon. The cost of the luncheon is $14 per person to be paid at the door. Please RSVP to Rebecca Mendoza by calling or texting 325-998-3880 ASAP or by Wednesday, January 25th.

The Texas Federation of Republican Women actively supports Republican candidates, while providing “strength and unity” for political action. TFRW encourages Republican women to run for office and offers training to become effective Republican Party workers. The organization has a self-published TFRW quarterly publication “The Texas Star.”

TFRW is one of the largest women’s political organizations in the nation and is a member of the National Federation of Republican Women.
