Randy Greathouse, 32 years old, was booked into the Brown County Jail for Indecency with a Child, and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The child was under the age of 10. Greathouse is currently being held without bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26 year old Anthony James Garcia Jr. for Assault/Family Violence, with previous conviction.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 22 year old Marc Anthony Luna for Forgery of a Financial Instrument.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 43 year old Billy Wayne Thomas, of Coleman, for Assault/Family Violence, Strangulation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 49 year old Clayton Dale Wilkins, of Blanket, for Burglary of a Habitation.

Police Blotter: Thursday, January 5th

*11:03 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 200 block of North Center Avenue. After investigation, officers arrested Lakrisha Newton for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 ounces.

*4:44 p.m. Brownwood Police observed a known subject with an active arrest warrant in the 1900 block of Belle Plain. As officers were conducting a traffic stop, the suspect fled to an address in the 500 block of Walnut Street. He then exited his vehicle and fled on foot. Officers located the individual, Nolberto Martinez, hiding under a house. Martinez crawled out from under the house and attempted to flee but was subdued. Nolberto Martinez was arrested for Violation of a Protective Order, Evading Arrest in a Vehicle, Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Public Servant. Martinez has a lengthy arrest record with several family violence and assault charges. He is currently being held without bond.

*8:24 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 1600 block of 18th Street. After investigations, officers arrested David Williams for Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than 28 grams, in a Drug Free Zone.

*11:45 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Avenue J regarding a domestic disturbance. After contact with the parties involved, officers arrested Anthony James Garcia Jr. for Assault/Family Violence.
