Press Release – The Pecan Valley Kiwanis Club annual Christmas Food Basket service project continues to bring holiday dinner items to families in the Brownwood/Early area. Club members joined with Brookshire’s Super Market Store Director and Assistant Store Manager to pick up non-perishable food items gathered by Brookshire’s.

Donations from the store will be combined with food items gathered by the Early High School Key Club and Early Middle School Builders Club for distribution to families in the area needing a little help to have a Merry Christmas.

The local Kiwanis club members will sort, pack, and distribute these food baskets throughout the area on Friday and Saturday of this week.

Pecan Valley Kiwanis is part of the Texas – Oklahoma District of Kiwanis International. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
