Police Blotter: 12/12 Large amount of Food Items Stolen

Brownwood Police were called to Walmart at 12:36 p.m. on Friday, December 9th regarding a theft. According to the report, four beef briskets, cheese slices, ribs, bacon, three rib eye steaks, milk, a half liter of Mountain Dew, Dos Equis beer, and several other food items were stolen. After investigation, officers arrested Lachrisha Kendrick for Theft, less than $750. Kendrick was later released from the Brown County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

Friday, December 9th

*12:50 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding suspicious activity.

*4:05 p.m. Brownwood Police were asked to perform a welfare check near the 500 block of Main Street. A report for Assault/Family Violence was filed in which a male assaulted a female.

*7:29 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 1300 block of 3rd Street after observing a driver drive straight in a right turn only lane. After further investigation, officers arrested Caren Windham for Driving While Intoxicated, and Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.

*8:58 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Irma Street regarding a theft. A car battery was reported stolen and a suspect was named.

*11:37 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of North Greenleaf for a noise nuisance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 29 year old Tiffany Nicole Daniel on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Theft of Property, less than $500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19 year old Kaitlin Nicole Donahoo for Speeding, 50 MPH in a 35 MPH zone.

Saturday, December 10th

*12:12 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Milton in reference to an unwanted subject. The complainant stated a strange intoxicated male was in the driveway. After further investigation, officers arrested a 17 year old male for Public Intoxication.

*1:35 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding trespassing. After speaking with the suspect, officers arrested Elijah Ray Jones when he admitted to entering a vehicle that belonged to the victim.

*4:15 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Southside Drive for a domestic disturbance. Officers spoke with the complainant and arrested Joe G. Cisneroz II for Assault Causing Bodily Injury/Family Violence.

*7:47 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 13th Street in reference to trespassing.

*1:30 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of West Commerce regarding lost property. An estimated $800 in cash was reported stolen.

*8:13 p.m. Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding trespassing. Officers arrested Matthew Daunis for Criminal Trespassing.

*Brownwood Police arrested 45 year old Billy Joe Cody for Public Intoxication.

*Brownwood Police arrested 56 year old Caren Jean Windham for Driving While Intoxicated.

Sunday, December 11th

*12:09 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 1700 block of Indian Creek Road, after observing a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. After further investigation, officers arrested Francisco Xavier Soliz for Driving While Intoxicated.

*12:57 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 900 block of Avenue B. This stop led to the arrest of John Anthony Steward for Driving While Intoxicated/Second Offense, and Possession of Marijuana, less than two ounces, in a Drug Free Zone.

*9:54 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1900 block of Avenue B regarding a burglary. According to the report, a complainant stated a window had been broken and several tools stolen. An investigation is ongoing.

*4:12 p.m. Brownwood Police spoke with an individual at the Law Enforcement Center in reference to debit card abuse. According to the report, a total of $296 was taken from the complainant’s account without permission.

*6:51 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Austin Avenue for a hit and run incident. The victim identified the driver and gave a description of the vehicle involved.

*7:50 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a hit and run incident near the 1700 block of Avenue A. The victim provided a description of the vehicle.

*Brownwood Police arrested 41 year old Michea Timothy Hufford for Driving While License Invalid, No Drivers License.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26 year old Francisco Xavier Soliz for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27 year old John Anthony Stewart for Driving While Intoxicated/Second Offense, and Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 ounces, in a Drug Free Zone.

Monday, December 12th

*DPS officer arrested 29 year old Maggie Beth Coy, of Bangs, for Driving While Intoxicated/Second Offense.
