Margie Loma Prince Parrent

margie-parrent-mainFuneral services for Margie Loma Prince Parrent, age 89, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home in  Odessa.  Local arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.   Mrs. Purcell passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016.

Margie was born March 28, 1927 to William S. and Sarah (Atchley) Prince in Pine, Oklahoma.  She grew up on a farm near Coalgate, Oklahoma.  She attended Pine School through 8th grade.  After meeting the love of her life, she married him, Lloyd R. Parrent.  They were married 67 years.  Together they had seven children.  Margie was a Tupperware and Sarah Coventry Jewelry saleswoman.  In her later years, she worked for Cloth World.  Margie was a recent member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church with daughters, Margaret Boyd, Sharon Wolsey, and Evelyn Berry.  She was a lifelong Baptist and 50-year member of Eastern Star, Friendship #1008.

She is survived by six daughters:  Kathleen King and husband Jerry, Evelyn Berry, Wanda Bonington Scott and husband Chuck, Margaret Boyd and husband Grady, Sharon Wolsey and Carolyn Lee and husband John.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  She is survived by one brother, Carl Prince and family of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

She was preceded in death by her husband; son Lloyd Ray Parrent; sister Linnia Griffin, and brothers Earl, Arvil, Lloyd and Harold Prince.
