City of Early looking to Hire

The City of Early is currently accepting applications for a Parks & Recreation Laborer, as well as a Light Equipment Operator.

The Parks & Recreation Laborer position is for a full-time employee, with at least 40 hours a week scheduled, with job duties including the care and maintenance of ballparks, right-of-ways, and working in various departments for the city of Early. Official job listing requests applicants show basic knowledge of ballfield maintenance, as well as general maintenance work. The ability to operate push and riding mowers, weed-eaters, edgers, tillers and other small equipment, and tractor experience is listed as helpful.

The Light Equipment Operator position is seeking applicants to handle maintenance, installation, repair and cleaning of water and sewer lines; installation of fire hydrants, valves, water/sewer taps, manholes and cleanouts on service lines. Job duties will include assisting the crew chief as required when operating sewer rodding machine, Hydro-jet, Vac-Truck, jackhammer, pipe cutters, tapping machine and other equipment as necessary.

Applications for the two positions will be accepted up to December 12th and may be submitted in person or by mail at Early City Hall, 960 Early Blvd, Early, Texas, 76802.
