thomaswoodruffAt 2 PM on November 12, Thomas was last seen flying away on gossamer wings towards the stars leaving behind his earthly discomfort.  Thomas was born November 8th 1942 in Sweetwater, Texas to Charles Woodruff (of Sweetwater) Majorie (Janner) Woodruff (of Llano).  Thomas spent most of his adult life in west Texas, especially in Ozona.  He loved working cattle and being with friends.  Thomas never married and once claimed that he saved another human from being miserable. Later in life he experienced the joy of sailing, spending hours on his boat sailing along the Gulf Coast.

He leaves behind an older sister Linda Lou Dietz, a younger sister Patricia Kieselhorst, his little brother C. P. Woodruff (spouse Dolores),  three nieces Jennifer Woodruff, April Welch and Heather Byron, and two nephews Chet Kieselhorst and Kevin Byron.  He was preceded in death by his parents; second family of Ozona (Milton and Deana Wagner); as well as his nephew David Kieselhorst.  He leaves behind those whom will never forget him including three Aunts; Alvadene Almgreen and Jenieve Pruett of Brownwood, and Lanelle Johnson of Ft Worth.

We wish to thank the staff and caregivers of Songbird Lodge and Solaris Hospice who made sure his last days were both comfortable and painless.
