birrell-picLisa Birrell, age 48, of Early, passed away on November 13, 2016 at 4:00pm. She was a widower of her husband Gordon Birrell. They shared 19 wonderful years together.
Lisa was born in McCamey and was the daughter of Keith Glenn and Veverly Lloyd. She worked at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center for 16 years in Human Resources and at the Walker Cancer Center.
She loved to travel, attend her daughter’s numerous sports activities and events, take random gambling trips, and be around her family and friends as often as possible. Lisa will be remembered for her kind and caring attitude, her ability to always make any situation a fun one, her love for elephants and her strength. She battled a very tiring fight with cancer for three years, but she never let it hold her back from anything. Lisa continued to live her life with as many joyful moments as she could.
She is survived by her two beautiful daughters Megan Tidwell and Morgan Birrell, along with her son in law Craigan Tidwell. Lisa also left behind her two precious grand babies Emma and Connor. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, her grandparents Bill and Wandean Glenn and Jerry McKenzie, her best friend Kathy Parker and her sweet little dog Ryder.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the Early Chamber of Commerce, 104 E Industrial in Early.

Condolences, memories and tributes can be offered to the family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net
