Law Enforcement Blotter 11/4

LEOblotterpicLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, November 4, 2016.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.

Thursday, November 3rd

* 10:55 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of 4th Street regarding a violation of a protective order. According to the report, a female reported her spouse had contacted her via phone, violating the order. A report was filed and officers are currently investigating the incident.

* 12:05 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 2200 block of 1st Street in reference to an assault. Officers met with a female victim and filed a Family Violence Report for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 2nd.

* 4:23 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Mayes regarding a domestic disturbance. According to witnesses, a male threw an antique lamp, belonging to a female at the residence, at a 2011 Toyota Corolla, cracking the windshield and causing approximately $750-$2,000 worth of damage. The lamp was also destroyed. A report was filed.

* 34 year old Melissa Sue Benson turned herself into the Brown County Jail for Theft of Property. Benson was later released on a $1,500 bond.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 34 year old Verelda Suzanne Evans, of Rochelle, on multiple warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest, Public Intoxication, Consuming Alcohol on Prohibited Premises. Evans is currently being held in lieu of bonds totaling $25,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 32 year old Laramie Sheree Hash on a warrant for a Parole Violation. Hash is currently being held in the Brown County Jail.

* Brownwood Police arrested 39 year old Sandee Michelle Luedecke  on a warrant regarding Failure to Appear/Bail Jumping, and Speeding 10% Above Posted Limit. Luedecke was released on an $800 bond.

* Brown County Sherrif’s Office arrested 42 year old Cynthia Dolores Marshall, of Blanket, on a warrant regarding Possession of a Controlled Substance. Marshall was later released on a $15,000 bond.

* Brownwood Police arrested 41 year old Nicholas Martinez on a warrant for Failure To Appear/Invalid Inspection Sticker.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 29 year old Colin Garrett Smith, of May, for multiple charges including Family Violence/Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Retaliation, Criminal Mischief, and Motion to Revoke/Driving While Intoxicated. Smith was released on bonds totaling $18,000.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 20 year old Morrelia Marisol Villarreal, of Bangs, on a warrant regarding Family Violence/Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Villarreal was released on a $2,500 bond.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 46 year old Jessie Ray Walls, of Blanket, on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Bail Jumping. Walls was released on a $18,000 bond.

Friday, November 4th

* 12:16 a.m. Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of W. Main Boulevard in reference to a domestic disturbance. According to the report a male physically assaulted a female at the residence. A report was filed.

* 3:18 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Morris Sheppard Drive regarding domestic disturbance. According to the report, a female at the residence reported a male physically assaulted her and then fled the scene. Officers are investigating the incident.

* Brownwood Police arrested 33 year old Israel Mendoza Arriaga for Possession of Marijuana/Motion to Revoke. Arriaga is currently being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
