Friday, October 21

*9:43 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Chandler Street regarding a forgery.

*10:42 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Milam Drive regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, a theft of approximately $50 in concessions were stolen from Gordon Wood Stadium.

*11:05 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Avenue B regarding an assault.

*4:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle which was in progress.  According to the report, the homeowner was able to detain the suspect as he attempted to flee from the scene.  A juvenile was taken into custody for burglary of a vehicle and then taken to the juvenile justice center.

*8:15 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the area of FM 586 and Hwy 377 South regarding a hit and run accident and a road hazard. According to the report, an unknown suspect had a collision with an unattended vehicle and left the scene. The vehicle was subsequently towed for being a road hazard, the report states. The hit and run is still being investigated, according to the deputy’s report.

*9:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Avenue E regarding the violation of a protective order.  According to the report, a known suspect was seen leaving the residence on a bicycle.  Dispatch confirmed an active protective order against the subject for the property, the report states.

*46-year-old Jose Luis Delgado of Whitney, Texas turned himself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.

*Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office arrested 72-year-old John earl Flemming of Junction, Texas on a Brown County warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Lynn Allen Isbell of Fort Worth, Texas on Coleman County warrants related to aggravated assault with deadly weapon, burglary of a habitation intend other felony, criminal trespass and three bench warrants.  Isbell was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $379,000 as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cassandra Lynn Kirk of Pipe Creek, Texas on a warrant related to motion to revoke possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.  Kirk was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Roberto Martinez Sanchez of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/assault with deadly weapon.  Sanchez was later released on $25,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Reymundo Valdez of Richland Springs, Texas on warrants related to unlawful carrying of weapon and possession of a controlled substance.

Saturday, October 22

*1:27 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle.  According to the report, the stop was due to a defective brake light and a wide right turn in which the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane, driving into the oncoming lane. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Zachary Omar Quinteros of Brownwood, smelled of alcohol and was arrested for driving while intoxicated after failing to correctly perform standard field sobriety tests, the report states.

*4:05 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of 1st Street regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*7:35 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of 4th Street regarding criminal mischief.

*11:36 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding fraud.  According to the report, the bank had received a counterfeit $100 bill.

*7:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Bowie Circle regarding animal cruelty.

*9:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding a disorderly subject at a local club.  As a result of this call, the subject, identified as 54-year-old Harold Lance Collins of Brownwood, was arrested for public intoxication.

*11:58 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 3rd Street and Avenue D.  According to the report, the driver initially failed to stop and pulled into a residence in the 1000 block of 1st Street.  The driver, identified as 27-year-old Nolberto Martinez, Jr. of Brownwood, was subsequently arrested for the violation of a protective order, evading in a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and on an active warrant for criminal trespass of a habitation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Charlotte Ann Story of Odessa, Texas on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal related to forgery against elderly.  Story was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond as of Monday morning.

Sunday, October 23

*2:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft of property.  According to the report, the suspect shoplifted various items including pet food, a dog chew bone and a box of baby wipes.

*3:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding criminal mischief.

*6:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Dallas Street regarding a dog bite incident with multiple victims.

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 25-year-old Rurie Clay Olguin of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
