Wednesday, October 19

*10:25 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a home on Stephen F. Austin regarding an assault.  According to the report, a female reported that a relative had assaulted her and then left the residence.

*52-year-old Melissa Mans Franklin of Sidney, Texas turned herself in on a probation violation.

*Early Police Department arrested 29-year-old David Anthony Moreno of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury/family violence and terroristic threat of family/household.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old David Antoine Williams of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

Thursday, October 20

*12:09 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 800 block of Coggin Avenue.  This stop led to the issuance of a citation to the driver for an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle, according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Bradley Alan Deschane of Blanket on a warrant for motion to adjudicate/burglary of a building.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Daniella Marie Evans of Brownwood related to motion to adjudicate/injury of a child with intentional bodily injury.   Evans was later released on $20,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Samuel Lynn Lockhart of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/evading arrest detention with previous conviction.  Lockhart was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $22,500 bond as of Thursday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Maria Aurora Ortiz of Arlington, Texas on warrants related to two counts of failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear/tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and a surety withdrawal for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.  Ortiz was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $85,000 as of Thursday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Augustina Loida Tyler of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Stetson Lee Wayne Walls of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for two counts of failure to appear/forgery.  Walls was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $60,000 as of Thursday morning.
