Funeral services for William R. “Bill” Steiner, age 69, of Brownwood, will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2016 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Steiner died Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Brownwood.
Bill was born in Buffalo, New York to William and Genevieve (Waddy) Steiner. He served in the U.S. Army for fourteen years before retiring. He moved to Brownwood and worked for West Texas Printing for twenty six years. Bill married Myong Hye Mun on June 21, 1976 in Seoul, South Korea.
Bill is survived by his wife of forty years Hye Steiner of Brownwood, two sons, two sisters, Barbara and Beverly and a brother Donnie Steiner of Buffalo, New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
