Dixie Marie Bolen

BolenDixieMarieDixie Marie Bolen, 54, of Abilene, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Mr. Bob Martin officiating.  Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Dixie Marie Kile on April 4, 1962 in Coleman to Luther Preston Kile and Ruby Lane Pitts Kile.  Dixie grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School.  She worked at Coleman County Medical Center EMS as an EMT and also worked in the food service industry as a Dietary Technician.  Dixie was a very loving mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Elm Street Church of Christ and attended University Church of Christ in Abilene.

Survivors include one daughter and son-on-law, Lisa and David Cloud of Coleman; one son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Heather Bolen of Loraine; six grandchildren, Kara, Trevor and Braden Cloud of Coleman and Joshua, Brett and Matthew Bolen of Loraine.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two uncles, Wesley Kile and Curtis Kile.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home.
