Monday, August 29

*8:03 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 11th Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the victim stated a male subject threw a spit container at his vehicle causing damage.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*11:10 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for suspicious activity at the intersection of Hwy 67W and CR 177 near Bangs, Texas.  According to the report, verbal consent to search the vehicle was obtained and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a pair of brass knuckles.  The passenger, identified as 17-year-old Chalee Marie Miller of Coleman, Texas, was subsequently arrested for possession of a prohibited weapon – knuckles, a Class A misdemeanor.

*35-year-old Jason Tye Covington of Goldthwaite, Texas was arrested for public intoxication.

*28-year-old Michael Wayne Hays of Blanket, Texas was arrested on warrants for motion to adjudicate/indecency with a child sexual contact and motion to revoke/unlawful possession of a firearm by felon (Taylor County).

*35-year-old Richard Elbert Nicholls of Early, Texas was arrested for criminal trespass.

*57-year-old Sheila Diane Pardun of Dallas, Texas was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

Tuesday, August 30

*1:18 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3500 block of Golding Road regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, an assault had occurred between two roommates several hours prior to officers’ arrival.  The officer documented the alleged injury to a disabled person reckless bodily injury.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
