The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reminds citizens to travel safely with the Labor Day holiday approaching.

Whether staying in Brown County or journey off on a trip to enjoy family time, the Sheriff’s office wants to remind each and every person that if you are going to consume alcohol to find a sober ride ahead of time.

During the dates of August 19, 2016 thru September 5, 2016.  BCSO will be stepping up patrol in conjunction with TxDOT’s Impaired Driving Mobilization (IDM) grant and will be looking for impaired drivers to insure everyone has a safe Labor Day to remember for years to come.
