Wednesday, August 3

*1:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, two subjects had left the store without paying for an oil change and one new tire.  The incident was documented.

Thursday, August 4

*9:50 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report via phone call of theft.  This was about two (2) unidentified suspects tampering and damaging the gate motor at the main gate for the Oak Point Subdivision.  A report was taken.

*9:16 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding a scam.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Preston Dilon Browne of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Billy Shy Drew on warrants related to failure to appear/theft greater than $1500 less than $20,000 and failure to appear/theft greater than $1500 less than $20,000 from elderly.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Negal Andre Johnson of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Andrea Nicole Mendoza of Bangs on a warrant related to failure to appear/delivery of a controlled substance.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 24-year-old Richard Zachery O’Connor of Brownwood on warrants related to evading arrest/detention and theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Casey Douglas Simpson of May for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
