Wednesday, July 27

*2:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of 1st Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, sometime during the night, the complainant’s mailbox was damaged.

Thursday, July 28

*6:38 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to County Road 422 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, several mailboxes were damaged.  An investigation of duty striking fixed object is ongoing, the report states.

*1:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding theft.  According to the report, a female suspect stole items from the store including two gift cards and a DVD. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*1:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 9th Street regarding child custody.

*Brownwood Police arrested 37-year-old Gary Wynn Franqui of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.  Franqui was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bond.

*Bangs Police arrested 52-year-old Claude Gelinas of Albuquerque, New Mexico for driving while intoxicated, speeding and fail to maintain a single lane.

*31-year-old Ricardo Homero Hurtado of Coleman turned himself in on warrants related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and open container in motor vehicle.  Hurtado was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $91,000 bond.

Friday, July 29

*12:08 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of 9th Street regarding child custody.

*12:19 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Avenue K regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 39-year-old Mandy Adame of Brownwood for assault threat or offensive touch family violence.

*Bangs Police arrested 51-year-old Betty Joe Roe of Early for public intoxication.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
