Gary Lee Joyner

Funeral services for Gary Lee Joyner, age 55, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 10 AM Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Boykin officiating.  Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.    Mr. Joyner passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Brownwood.

Gary was born July 11, 1961 in Brownwood, Texas to Malcolm and Grace Ann McClung Joyner.  On October 2, 1999, he married Rhonda Gilbreath in Brownwood.  Gary had worked in the oilfields, was a truck driver, and loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle but, most of all spending time with his grandchildren, and his dogs Buddy & Searge.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda Joyner; son Keven Lambert & wife Karen; daughter Maranda Lovell and husband Brandon; mother Grace Ann Joyner; mother-in-law Betty Gilbreath; sisters Sherry McIntire and husband John, Tammy & husband Gary Myers, Cylinda Musick and husband Dewayne, Terri Joyner; seven grandchildren Hayden Lambert, Cavan Lovell, Noah and Nicholas Lambert, Ellie Lovell, Norah Lovell,  Xylla Lambert; Nieces Leslie Ochoa & husband John, Kiesha & Jermaine, Kallie Joyner; and by nephews John McIntire, Taylor McIntire & wife Becca, and Chadley Musick; also by good friends Chris Englet, David Guthrie, Randy Wright, Danny Morney and many more.

He was preceded in death by his father Malcolm Joyner.
