Bryson Ray Hyer

HyerBrysonRayBryson Ray Hyer, 15 of Coleman and formerly of Abilene, passed away on July 22, 2016.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Coleman High School Competition Gymnasium, 201 West 15th Street, Coleman.  Burial will be in the White Chapel Cemetery in Coleman County.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

Bryson Ray Hyer was born on May 14, 2001 in Abilene to Mandy Marks Hyer Davidson and the late Eddie Ray Hyer, Jr.  Bryson grew up in Abilene and attended school there.  He moved with his family in 2015 to Coleman and attended Coleman Junior High.  Bryson was extremely athletic.  He loved playing football, baseball and running track.  He excelled in all sports.  He was a great student that was loved by all of his friends, teachers and coaches.  Bryson was always happy and ready to cheer up his friends.  He was a team leader that everyone looked up to, all the while being a very humble person.

Bryson is survived by his mother and step-father, Mandy and Phillip Davidson of Coleman; step-brother, Tucker Davidson of Snyder; step-sister, Tristan Davidson of Snyder; his grandparents, Sherri Marks (Grammy) of Coleman, Michael Densman of Coleman, Eddie Hyer, Sr. of Abilene, Penny Pogrant of Abilene; great grandparents, Marlene and Pat Wood of Abilene; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Hyer of Abilene, Deven Densman of San Angelo, Hailey Hinds and husband, Landon, of Talpa, Clint Marks of Coleman and many cousins and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Ray Hyer, Jr.

There will be a visitation with the family on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.
