In observance of the Independence Day Holiday, Brownwood City Hall and City departments, other than emergency services, will close Monday July 4th and there will be no collection of residential waste.

Residents with curbside garbage collection please have your blue or green cart placed curbside by 7 a.m. and note that trash will be collected as follows:

• Monday’s route will run Tuesday, July 5th.
• Tuesday’s route will run Wednesday, July 6th.

For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, please call 325-646-6000, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

The City of Early will also close for Independence Day, July 4th.

Monday and Tuesday trash routes will be picked up on Tuesday, July 5th.
