ReveileKennethWayneKenneth Wayne Reveile, 77, passed away on June 21, 2016 at his residence.  He had enjoyed the Father’s Day weekend filled with storytelling and laughter with his daughter, Erica, and his two granddaughters, Caitlin and Caroline.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Santa Anna Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Heartland Funeral Home.

Ken was born April 28, 1939 in Santa Anna, Texas to J.C. and Pearl Widner Reveile.  He grew up in Santa Anna and Fort Worth, joining the U.S. Coast Guard after high school, where he served 23 years.  He retired a Senior Chief Boatswain Mate and also worked as a detective for U.S.C.G. Intelligence.  His travels through the Coast Guard brought him to the South Pacific, as well as across the coastlines of the U.S., including Connecticut, Texas, California and Alaska.

Ken was preceded in death by one daughter, Kirsten, his parents, two brothers, Clois and Wayland, and one sister, Dorothy.

He is survived by his two daughters, Erica McNabb of Jupiter, Florida and Anntoinette Watt of Red Oak, Iowa.  His younger brother, Glen Reveile of Waller, Texas.  His three grandchildren, Kyle Ratley, Caitlin and Caroline McNabb, and one great grandson, Kyle Jr.  As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends.  A couple of close family friends are Juan and Diana Rodriguez and Bubba and Allisha Wallace, of Early, Texas.

These family members and friends were blessed to know the quick wit, warm smile, twinkling eyes and great laugh of this well-traveled storyteller who held his family and friends close.

Those of us left behind, hold Ken in our hearts and memories, the thought of him brings a smile.

Condolences can be offered to the family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
