Cities of Brownwood and Early Announce Memorial Day Closures

Brownwood City Hall and all non-emergency City facilities will close Monday, May 30th and there will be no collection of residential waste on this day.

Brownwood residents with curbside garbage collection of blue or green carts, note that your trash will be collected as follows:

  • Monday’s route will run on Tuesday, May 31st.
  • Tuesday’s route will run on Wednesday, June 1st.

For more information concerning your trash schedule call 325-643-4200 or visit the City of Brownwood’s website at www.brownwoodtexas.gov/1 where you can view and print the holiday collection schedule for the year, request bulky item pickup, sign up for “Notify Me” an automatic email & text notification of upcoming events, closures and much more.

For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, call 646-6000, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

The City of Early and municipal court offices will also close for Memorial Day.

Monday and Tuesday trash routes will be picked up on Tuesday, May 31st.
