Wednesday, May 25

*3:54 PM –  Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center ICU regarding narcotics.  According to the report, narcotics and narcotic equipment were seized and a suspect was identified.

Thursday, May 26

*9:04 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a fast food restaurant in the 200 block of E. Commerce Street regarding a lost wallet.  According to the report, the wallet contained $650 in cash and the complainant’s driver’s license.

*10:25 AM – Brownwood Police located a quantity of prescription drugs after the arrest of a male subject on another drug.  According to the report, the male admitted to possessing medication without a prescription.

*12:30 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male subject who violated a protective order by being within 500 feet of a residence for which the protective order is for.  An investigation is ongoing and the incident has been documented.

*12:45 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding a possible scam.  According to the report, the complainant’s son listed a guitar for sale on the Wallapop app and a possible buyer contacted the complainant’s son by text and then mailed a business check to him for $2800.

*6:26 PM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the 1200 block of Willis Street.  According to the report, during the roadside stop, the suspect attempted to conceal evidence from the officer.  A small quantity of methamphetamine consistent with distribution was among evidence discovered by officers, the report states.   As a result of this stop, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Tony Aguillar of Early, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug free zone.

*7:35 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding criminal mischief.

*8:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding an assault.  According to the report, the female victim alleged her boyfriend assaulted her and fled from her residence.

Friday, May 27

*12:16 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Anderson and Carnegie Streets.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of the driver, 35-year-old David Yancy of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
