The Brownwood Police Department welcomed their newest officer Robert Lehman to the force at Tuesday’s Brownwood City Council meeting.

Lehman took the Oath of Office and Law Enforcement Oath of Honor and his badge was pinned by his wife Laurel Anne in a ceremony at City Hall.

Brownwood Mayor Haynes thanked Lehman for his service.

“Thank you Robert, we appreciate your public service.  Know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers,” said Haynes.  “We appreciate what you are doing.”
