TillWendellWendell Eudene Till, age 82, of Lake Brownwood formerly of Richland Springs passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, in San Angelo.

Graveside Services for Wendell will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Rocky Creek Cemetery with Bro. Barry Fikes officiating, no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Wendell was born and raised in the Locker Community of San Saba County, to Sherman and Leona (Lewis) Till on July 14, 1933. He graduated from San Saba High School in 1950. Wendell spent 2 years in the United States Army.

Wendell was married to Dara Land from 1956-1981, they had 3 boys. He was very proud to have his boys playing on the Richland Springs football team and enjoyed watching them play. Wendell married Sally Corley, they were married from 1981-2004.

He worked for McCulloch Electric Coop for many years. He retired from Crane County Road and Bridge as an Assistant Superintendent in 1996. Wendell married Bessie Reynolds in 2005. Wendell loved tinkering with odds and in’s, fishing, and was a very devoted family man.

Wendell is survived by his wife, Bessie Till; sons, Terry Till and wife Traci, Lynn Till and wife Donna; step-children, Steve Corley and wife Lisa, Cindy Roe, Cathy Nelms and husband Milton, Debbie Braden and husband Glenn, and Jamie Reynolds; grandchildren, Trevor Till, Justin Till, Jarred Till, Tristan Till, Terrence Till, Kayla Corley, Sarah Corley, Jamie Williams, Lindsey Williams, Matt Braden, Erin Bell, and Amber Coleman; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Glenda Pearce and husband Gary, Wanda Roberds and husband Bud. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Leona Till; son, Keith Till; and late wife, Sally Till.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Shannon Medical Center, Kindred Care Hospice, and Cedar Manor. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the hospice of your choice. Online condolences for the family can be left at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
