Sunday, April 24

*4:11 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Vincent Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the suspect vehicle fled the scene after striking a fixture.  The vehicle was located a short time later and the incident was documented, the report states.

*7:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4400 block of Westridge Drive regarding theft of property.  According to the report, a chrome bumper for a Chevrolet truck was stolen from the residence.  The bumper was sitting beside the residence when it was stolen, the report states.    Criminal charges will be pursued if a suspect(s) can be located, according to police.

Wednesday, April 27

*4:46 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of 4th Street regarding an accident.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 29-year-old Veronica Arocha of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*12:57 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence in Blanket regarding a burglary. According to the report, the complaint stated someone had entered a mobile home, located behind her residence and which she uses for storage, without her consent.

*10:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3900 block of Crestridge regarding a suspicious circumstance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Jorge Antonio Delgado of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence by strangulation.

*10:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding harassment.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Tracy Ray Conn, III for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

* 23-year-old Joshua Wayne Dyess AKA Brandon Beam was arrested on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Dalanna Ferguson of Brownwood on warrants related to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and failure to appear.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 32-year-old Alice Gunter of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 63-year-old Larry David Hopkins of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Jacob Paul Keith of Bangs for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Homero Avitia Retana of Farmers Branch, Texas for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Shelley Beth Schafer of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Stephanie Rene Stevens of San Antonio, Texas on warrants related to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

Thursday, April 28

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 42-year-old Ronald Jacob Curtis of Brownwood for unlawful carrying weapon and driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Mandy Leigh Hardin of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams, less than 200 grams.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
